Douglas Houle graduated from Plymouth State College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and currently lives in Maine. He has traveled throughout northern New England for over 30 years, finding inspiration for his paintings in his surroundings. This artist uses light and color to create dramatic images of New England. His unique perspective and bold colors help capture the character and essence of these familiar places.
