Artist Info
These beautiful wooden utensils were made by two sisters. They founded their company in 2012 after the death of their furniture craftsman father. The sisters grew up around wood working tools, watching their father and sanding things he made. In an effort to remain close to him, they began working in their father’s shop, teaching themselves and crafting a few projects. When a friend of their father's dropped by one day and taught them how to carve spoons, their studio and business was born. The sisters continue to carve, sand, and create new wooden kitchen utensils and tools- each a functional piece of art.

The woods used are mostly native hardwoods — ash, maple, black walnut, and cherry – with some additional types used in the joints of some pieces. Each wooden piece is hand made in Maine.
